A Happy, Healthy & Hoity-Toity 2012 to Everyone !
The 2012 has started with a bang... and we are just loving every minute . The shop is packed, stacked and ready for the season . It  looks great and its  ready for the big weekend ahead with the Rennigers Extravaganza  on January 2oth, 21st & 22nd.....As well as a familiar shop loved by all When Pigs Fly Again is opening up this weekend in Mount Dora  and we are excited about an old favorite shop that we all love !   ( Remember to mention that you follow us on facebook or the blog and we have something special for you )....... Hoity-Toity Hunting in the Lone Star State !

We just return from a little huntin' trip in Dallas, Tx... the Lone Star State. There is something to be said about hunting for treasures in the state that everything is bigger !

During our Holiday Hunting trip we found some pretty wild goodies. For instance  casket plates, yes caskets as in RIP (  we are thinking of upcycling these into mini writing boards ), bait Buckets, a very vintage canteen ( this canteen has some miles on it ),medical instruments ( scarey & large ones ),  burlap bags from England dated 1963, several vintage lucite handbags...... and oh so so so many more wild& unique finds.. As we unpack the 3 large boxes ( I think the UPS man may have gotten a hernia from this delivery, sorry ! ) we will post pictures and share our treasures.... Enjoy the "Hoity-Toity" Holidays we are  !

Business after Hours.....

The Mt.Dora Chamber of Commerce held it's Business After Hours on November 17th  at Hoity-Toity Mercantile.... and what a turn out we had !  We met several City Officials and many wonderful folks from the Mt.Dora Chamber and neighboring businesses..... Many special friends from the City of Tavares also joined us... a great time was had by all... Such a great time we were too busy to take pictures... ( I think the chamber did snap few shots).....

We love our Hoity-Toity Wine.......

Events happening in the next week .......

We love being busy and having lots going on...."That's how we roll " .. The week ahead is no exception . We are welcoming many new friends & old customers to the shop as folks are starting to arrive for the Renningers Antique Extrav... in Mt. Dora...11/18,11/19 & 11/20th.....

Orchid class is this Wednesday.. ( as always the 3rd Wednesday of each month)... 11/16th at 10:30 the class is full we have had to start scheduling for the December class...

Thursday 11/17th... Our Ribbon Cutting... " Business After Hours" means for get to have wine and cheese. (Not that we need a reason for wine, as we keep the wine cellar well stocked ) Several folks from the media & the community will be at the shop to toast the shop etc..etc.. This event is coordinated via the Mt.Dora Chamber of Commerce...

Oh and of course a full weekend of shoppers & shopping with the Renningers Extravagance in full swing all weekend long....in Mt.Dora
